With the object tucked into the crook of his arm, Eita retreats from the room, rounding the corner while plucking at the hem of his jacket. A scowl mars countenance, one that falters in surprise when he notices another presence.       ❛   Oh ---- I thought I was alone.   ❜        Eita regards the stranger with mild disinterest, failing to acknowledge the noise he’d caused seconds prior, potentially disturbing everybody within the immediate vicinity. 

“You have one too?” He replies almost a little too quickly, a light flush rising to his cheeks when he realizes how eager he must’ve sounded. Small talk isn’t something he excels at, or even connecting at all with his competitors if he’s being honest, but he’s trying. “Well, he isn’t just mine, I guess, but…here, I guess you’ve probably seen pictures before.” He adds a bit sheepishly, pulling up a recent picture to show him. “Viktor posts them all over.”

“Your hair is so pretty!” She meant to introduce herself with a hello first, but the compliment just burst out! She couldn’t help it. It’s not every day she meets someone with such nice red hair. “Oh! Sorry, I didn’t mean to start with that, ah…” she looks down, then back up, as if resetting herself. “My name is Niko! Do you work here?”

Her hair might be natural, but it’s still a more favoured feature that sparks her pride when given such a lovely compliment.
