"Plenty," he smirked. "Most of them involve murders that haven’t been solved or, you know, other petty crimes." He shook his head. "I suppose I’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes it feel like I’m the one that’s obsessed with an up and coming writer.”
"Some bar you work in, apparently," he chuckled, not sure he wanted to hear details. "No shame in appreciating a piece of literature, mate. Though it's good to hear your sister is such a fan. I really appreciate the support."
"It’s always nice to be surprised with a book. Or a character. Or people, though people come with bad surprises too. And it doesn’t hurt to reread a book."
"People come with bad surprises, but so do books and characters. Yet not all negative surprises are bad, if you take into account the text or person as a whole."

"Georgiana’s a rather sweet girl, but Elizabeth is definitely one of Austen’s more complex characters."

"I appreciate that," she nodded with a small smile. "I much prefer Mansfield Park," she replied with a nod. "What about you?"
"A nice choice," he inclined his head with a smile. "I think Mansfield Park is my second favorite to Northanger Abbey."

"It’s all in the tips, really. And It’s only entertaining when everyone’s smashed and can’t tell up from down." He arched his own eyebrows as well. "Well my… sister is a big fan of your work, so I never hear the end of it.”
"There must be some terribly-constructed stories overheard once they get that smashed." He smiled curiously. "That is very sweet of her. Sorry if you get bombarded. You're probably sick of me already."
