Glitters (Always SFW agere)

The big pinned post of all things! Interests! I love cartoons, toys, sweet stuff, Sailor Moon, Barbie, Gundam, Ninja Turtles, legos, Trolls, Rainbow Brite, animals, stickers, glitter, strawberries, play doh, sensory toys, and all kinds of things! I’ve recently gotten into Monster High, so that might be a focus for a bit too. I post a lot of random pictures while regressed, because it’s also a bit of a blog for my agere activities. I also LOVE foxes very much, even if I don’t know much about petre. I guess for me foxes are just a big special interest, but I love seeing people who petre or therian-re. If I suddenly go seven years old, then yeees I want to know people who turn puppies or kitties or bunnies and stuff. I also love singing, writing, drawing, and cooking. I’m learning to get better at all of these things, and some are a lot harder to do while small.

I have a serious question for my fellow regressors.

Have you opened up to family about your regression? It doesn’t seem like a topic that comes up a lot, but I know from my own experience that talking about it was beyond scary. Not every family member feels like a safe person to talk to about mental health, and I thought it was going to be my secret for life. When I finally brought it up, I was surprised. My mom was accepting. Way more accepting that I’d ever imagined. She understands that this is something helpful to me, and actively gets me coloring books so that I can color pictures for her. It reminds her of good things, and she keeps my color pages out on display like works of art. I know a lot of people can’t safely disclose their regression, but for those who have, did your relationships strengthen as a result? I’ve never been closer to my mom. With how scared I was to talk about it, her acceptance came as a complete surprise.

Lunchables make me feel so little. 🍕 I bet most of us have foods that are like… Insta-kid. I’m pretty much perma, so finding things to feel little has never been very hard, but I do notice some things that will make me feel safe and authentic immediately. For foods it’s things like this, or apple sauce, or making my own chocolate milk with syrup, or goldfish crackers. It’s like when I have the food I aaaactually want, I’m more me. I’m not masking anymore.
