I made these canvases, so I redid my walls too!

My small business was denied the government Payroll Protection Program Loan (PPP loan). A microscopic $5k that would cover about 3 weeks of what I've lost as a sole proprietor due to COVID-19. My business qualifies for 100% forgiveness, yet I was denied due to a high credit card balance. Imagine that.

I still have not gotten a stimulus. As a business owner I always owe taxes so they have no direct deposit account for me and their portal has been no help.

If anyone has a work from home editing or writing position they can pass on I'd be forever grateful. And if anyone can pass this onto @taylorswift , we need all the help we can get. I feel like such a failure even asking, but I also know none of this is my fault.

My income has dropped 75% since this crisis began. And on Feb 19 I was recovering from surgery to remove a dangerous mass from my thyroid. So February wasn't a great month either. As a single mother who is head of household, I make the income but I can't exactly start a job and leave my kid home 40hrs a week. No I don't have family, never have. Been on my own since 15.

My business allows me to work from home, a business I started 7 years ago so I could be with my son. That has turned to dust in a matter of weeks. I'm hopeful it will pick up but it could be months.

Our 90 day mortgage forbearance is up June 1 and the bank wants all 90 days plus June. That's $7k of imaginary money. How does that even make sense? Oh and the hold time on the phone is 8 hours. EIGHT.

I literally have no idea what's going on and I'm kinda starting to spiral. I've got food, money for utilities-ish. But what now? What happens when all the grace periods lift and there's no money coming in?
