See, I had an identity crisis about a year ago. I had spent most of my life lying - lying about my family situation, pretending to be fine, pretending to be tough and patient and everything. And then I decided I was done isolating myself and being an ass. I was confused, too, so I just started doing stuff I wanted. I always held back certain things that I liked to the point where I didn't know what I wanted. So I followed my impulses (be careful, of course). You wanna wear fucking pink sneakers? Do it. Do you wanna make a really loud comment right now? Do it. I sort of lost my filter and just started doing whatever I wanted at the moment, which is why I'm the chaotic, puppy-energy bitch that makes everyone in class laugh. In high school, no one wanted to be friends with me. Now, everyone on my classes knows my names even when I don't know theirs. Some people who were on everyone's radar might want to be more moderate or introverted. It's honestly about doing what you want in the moment, within reason, and letting that help you find your true self. Good luck, sweetheart!
