Can you imagine only to find out what you really are, as the very aspect you are part of, is dying.

You only find out that you’re the child of the night, after its stars have already started dimming, when things are in danger, when everything is uncertain.

Is she just somehow ‘asleep’ in a sense, like comatose, and that’s why parts of her are fading? Or is it the other way around and it’s the destruction of the stars that is eating away at your mother?

The mother you’ll never meet, the mother you never knew.

…you have to do something. Even if things like that one mission a little while back are gone, you have to find a way. You have to. You will find a way to do this, even if it kills you.

One of them is losing it and the other is yes confused but also feels strangely at peace surrounded by nothing but the vastness of space and the stars

Enola just wants to get by, she wants to simply live and not feel like a burden. Eve just lives and adds onto others lives without even realizing it, filling every step with energy that just screams ‘Eve’.

Enola doesn’t want to be here, she’s essentially clawing at the walls and trying not to cry in frustration and anger because she wants out but has no choice. Eve could avoid things in her life that appear, but she feels obligated to use what she has at times, she was raised in a good family and her childhood was fine, it was normal, so it only makes sense that she attempts to do the most she can for others- because if not, she feels selfish and privileged. It’s only fair that she carries more suffering, to make up for what the others lacked growing up.

Enola is sometimes weary to even just pick up their household cat, because she’s worried about upsetting it or messing up somehow and ending up with scratches and the cat hating her. Eve will gladly and gently pick up an animal or interact with even wild ones and somehow befriend them- she will (respectfully) get all in their business

Enola has wonder that she was told would never help with anything, thoughts and ideas that didn’t matter. Eve goes on with what she likes, simply because she likes it, and she wants others to do what they like too.

Like I love my gal being nice but I also love when I think of hypothetical timelines and shit where she’s just on a warpath essentially

It almost always has to do with a family member getting hurt/killed and I love that
