You know, maybe for some Hope and Clarke, it's toxic ship. Everyone has their own opinion and everyone is free to see what he wants. I do not deny that there were no controversial moments in the relationship between Ryan and Hope, they were, but sincere moments were also present. Hope was the only person to whom Clarke opened his soul, not for the sake of manipulation, but because besides her, he had no one to share his experiences with. The scene in Malivore in Episode 02x01 was very cute when Hope cast Ryan's butterfly consolation spell. Then we move on to the 02x08 series. This episode is full of sincere moments with them. 1. Hope realizes that the only one who can help her is Clarke. She shares with him that since childhood she has not celebrated Christmas, and Clarke that he never celebrated it. Then the scene where Hope saves Ryan from Krampus and lets him go because he really believes he is on her side. And there comes a scene of a telephone conversation. Ryan reveals to Hope that he doesn't hate her due to a truth spell, which makes her shocked. He just envied her, because in spite of everything, Hope has people who will love her, and Clarke does not and never had. Hope tells him that "if you believe strongly enough, everything can become true" and after that, they say goodbye, wishing each other a merry Christmas. In my opinion, this pairing had and still has good potential. Danielle and Nick had great chemistry with each other, they know how to play so that sparks sparkle around. I hope the writers will bring Ryan back in the future, give him their own storyline, and then we will fully enjoy his character and possibly a new relationship with Hope.
