So idk what EXACTLY happens in that moment of "mercy, I'm losing my cool" and "psh you ain't ever once been cool", but in my head, he's grabbing her arm or physically being threatening in some way, right? And Swan steps in between them, saying leave her alone. For a woman she doesn't even know. And then just walks right through him.

AND (I need a visual for all these songs immediately, but I'm pretty sure I'm right about this one) when Ajax gets scooped by the cops, Swan tells everyone to go ahead and Mercy yells no. That tells me Swan is breaking off to lead the cops away to save everyone else. Again, putting herself in danger to save someone. And Mercy, who fell in love with her immediately for it, is like "Swan, stick with me" and runs with her.
