The living Talk and the dead Walk

Christmas day during world war one both sides met at the middle in "no mans land" to celebrate this joyous holiday together playing soccer sharing rations and smoke! As soon as the festivities ended they shook hands hugged turned around and went back to their trenches. Their marryment now just a ghost of christmas past slowley fading as each bullet shot and each bomb dropped. When the carnage was over they would walk over look and scan the adjacent trench hoping not to find a new found friends lifeless face peering up at them from the muck and the mire. Man showed each side of of his nature that day blissful and putrid. For man is one who loves and one who kills.And all man wants to truly do is LOVE!
