    ⚡ℱ𝓇ℯ𝒹𝒹𝓎;; He blinked as soon as Gregory called his attention. He... wasn’t aware that he was even staring in the first place. Freddy probably was thinking so hard he ended up spacing out, and Gregory was just in his line of vision at that time.

    ⚡ℱ𝓇ℯ𝒹𝒹𝓎;; Freddy said nothing for a moment when the other had approached him, he instead scanned her a moment before humming. ‘ And you are not in my databanks for guests... However, from your uniform, I would be correct in assuming you are a member of staff, yes? ‘ He was silent a moment again. ‘ Nothing in my data banks for that either. You must be new. ‘

    He moved his paw, pulling his hat off and bowing his head before lifting it and putting the hat back in place. It was a while since the last time he was able to greet any new staff members personally. It was thrilling for him. Sometimes, it was even better when he was the first to welcome them, however, he sincerely doubted he was the first to greet her into the pizzeria’s family.

“Don’t worry, I’m a toughie! You GOTTA be to do what I do, I suppose!”

It was quite a sight, the very face of the company getting completely swamped by people. Not a rare one by any means, but it always proved to be staggering in one way or another. Lines, crowds, rooms, SEAS… today, however… it had to have been the busiest the Daycare Attendant had ever seen the big guy! And that was saying a lot.

“Ohhh, Freddy, of COURSE!” Sun offered a beam as bright as the ball of light they were based off of. “I was afraid you’d DISAPPEAR under all those people, haha! That wouldn’t be good–not at all!”

Their calling, the duty that hardly qualified as a job in their eyes… hearing such compliments from Freddy, it could make the jester blush, it could! As well as Freddy’s last few points, they would only made Sunny laugh more. Disrupting their work? The very thought that Freddy felt so remorseful prompted Sun to reach for their paw with their hands, cueing jingles a-plenty from the golden bells on their wrists.

“My “work” goes beyond KIDS, y’know! It always extends to my dear friends,too! And… well, EVERYONE!” 

    ⚡ℱ𝓇ℯ𝒹𝒹𝓎;; The energy was absolutely contagious, he had to admit. Almost like he wouldn’t need a charging station to get an extra wind. He couldn’t help but admire that just a little bit. But then, suppose when you’re dealing with the youngest of children in a daycare, you would have to have the energy. And, as they said, be tough. Silently, he was laughing at the idea of Sun bragging to Monty about that.

    He needed to stop that thought process. Focus on what was going on currently, and that was the other speaking to him and taking his paw in their hand as they did so. Despite the energy, there was a calm that came over Freddy from it.

    ‘ I was worried I was going to be buried under all that as well. ‘ He gently removed his paw and placed it on the other shoulder. ‘ I could consider you a hero for such a feat. Again, you have my thanks, my friend. ‘

MANDY LET OUT A SNORT, shaking her head and watched his optics move around, speaking up during the second round, “ Haha, Yeah. Fortunately for you I can tell with your voice you’re about to…” She stopped, frowned and reached into her tool bag for her laser pointer as well as a small flashlight. 

Something was going wrong, was his eye locking up and delayed this much during the show? If so, why didn’t he tell her? He probably didn’t even notice going by what he was telling her. 

“Hmm…” Mandy hummed, her frown only growing, “ Hey, can you do me a favor and try a third time? I wanna check something.” she asked him, turning on her pointer, “ Actually, we can just skip to this; follow the laser.” 

She went left, she went right and then up, down, quickly to the left and right again. Testing his reflexes, “ Damn, we might have to get you to parts and service.”

    ⚡ℱ𝓇ℯ𝒹𝒹𝓎;; His ears drooped and his eyes mimicked a sort of sadness as he listened to Mandy hum followed by asking for a third test. Was he malfunctioning? He... Frankly hadn’t even noticed that his eyes had malfunctioned in the first place. And he usually could catch that but, guess it wasn’t enough for him or anyone else to notice.

     ‘ Is it bad? ‘ He asked as he followed her instructions. Eyes to the laser pointer, up, down, left, right. He took notice that his reflexes were... off by a second and some. It didn’t seem like much but now he could understand.

    Best to nip this in the bud before it had the chance to get worse... Right?

THERE SHE GOES, SHE’S SCOFFING at his comment and gently she playfully punched his arm. How rude. After all she’s done for him and everyone. 

However, she paused at his question; raising a brow.

“Well,” Mandy started, turning around on the chair to turn off her music so she could focus on thinking, “ Not really, at least nothing I can think of.” a laugh left her and she sat there with arms tense at her sides and gripping the seat under her, very awkward, “ There was a thought of having another movie night because last night was fun. But I won’t be here for the next week so that won’t work.”

Unfortunately, Mandy’s roommate was out of town for the week; so that meant she had to stay home and take care of old Jack. Which again, meant they have to call in a replacement technician for that said week. 

“ Yeah, no, nothin’ coming to mind. Ya’ll are good enough.” she shrugged and then got up to pack her tools back into it’s bag, “ Alrighty Fazbear, testing time. Can you look up for me, then left, right and down?”

    ⚡ℱ𝓇ℯ𝒹𝒹𝓎;; Truth be told, he was disappointed to know that she wouldn’t be around for a while. But, couldn’t be helped, life happened. And, unlike himself and the others, he knew his place would always be right here in the Pizzaplex. Had his name, his face, everyone expected him to be there. Honestly, he wished at least one time he’d be able to leave for even a little while, but he knew that was a pipe dream that wasn’t fit for an animatronic like him. After all, his systems would shut down not long after he left without a charger.

    He would make do with the temporary one, however. Even if it meant he didn’t get to do anything fun after hours. He’ll manage.

    ⚡ℱ𝓇ℯ𝒹𝒹𝓎;; ‘ Wait for another technician I suppose. ‘ He was joking about that, of course. Mandy was a fantastic technician... And sort of indulged him in his low power mode ramblings while they tried to stuff him into a recharge station before he got back to his room... Which was still embarrassing but he wasn’t bringing that up again.

    ‘ You do so much for us here, I feel bad it’s been me more often than not... But it certainly is appreciated nonetheless. ‘ He tapped his finger against his opposing hand-- He was lost in thought for a moment before blinking and coming back to the now.

    ⚡ℱ𝓇ℯ𝒹𝒹𝓎;; ‘ That does not mean I cannot still appreciate the help. ‘ He rolled his shoulder as it made a slight clank letting him know it was settled back where it was. ‘ Truly, I know I am around kids a lot of the day for parties and photo ops, but I do not know how you are able to do it ALL the time the way you do. You have nearly more energy than I do. Guess that’s why you’re running the daycare and not me. ‘

    There were a lot more people than usual today. Most of them families with their young children who were always so excited to talk to Freddy and ask him a lot of questions... A lot more couples that came around than he’d expected to see, which he thought was nice. But it became too overwhelming. If Sun hadn’t shown up to help split the people so he could get the line down and finished, he’d have shut down before the line was halfway finished.
