OH MY! Echinus is a collection of japanese fabric by Etsuko Furuya. I love her designs and I bought few yards of printed linen from her collection to create a nice bag with a colorful African pattern. I like to mess around with "do it yourself" body care recipes. I've always been intrigued by the solid shampoo's idea so I started looking for a recipe to try at home. The first attempts were disastrous but experience helps and I have learned my lesson well! Now I realize solid shampoos for friends and family and with great results! One of my favorites is the solid mango shampoo. Only few ingredients and so simple to make: just melt the mango butter in a double boiler with mineral water, urucum powder and 2 differents surfactants derived from coconut (I buy them online: coco sulfate and sci), add a few drops of mango extract and provitamin B5. Once cooled in the mold they're ready and they last 3/4 months. Your hair will be super soft and scented! I will be glad to suggest some recipe if you like! Ok I admit: I'm obsessed with cakes! I realize them with soap, felt and paint them in my works ... but at least this way they don't make you fat ! ;-) These were 100 jewelry boxes with felt whipped cream, felt strawberries, felt cookie, felt kiwi and felt banana I realized as wedding favors for my beloved brother and my wonderful sister in law. I love you guys it was great fun!

5 years ago I rescued an English Bulldog born with the "puppy swimmer syndrome": Gigi. Nobody wanted him, he can't walk and requires a lot of care but he's my angel, he has a big heart and he worth the sacrifice. I do volunteer work with stray pets and I often raise orphaned furry babies. As soon as they can walk, they all go by Gigi and he fondles and licks them with infinite care and attention despite his "size" and his condition. Everytime is so touching to witness this unconditional love and support.
Don't buy love...you can adopt it from an animal shelter!!!

A felted soap is like soap with a jacket on! Felting wool requires a lot of energy and is very funny. Felting soaps is antistress, foamy and colorful hobby! A handmade soap bar will last much longer if it's felted, it's lightly exfoliating, it's not slippery like a regular soap bar, it's a great *inexpensive* gift and can be use to scent drawers for a loooong time! Personally I always use organic wool for my projects ;-)
