First thing, I finally quit my job. After years upon years of doing the same thing day in and day out, I finally broke down for a bit. I had a panic attack and was fed up with how my job was going. More like how my life was going. I wasn’t happy just getting by with the same shit for the past 6 years. Nothing has changed. It was time to take a risk. It was time to fail. I couldn’t take it anymore. So I ended it. Plain and simple. Money is probably going to be tight from now on but I feel like a weight was lifted from my shoulders and I am ready to start anew.

Second, I am going back to school. I quit college back when I was younger because I was burned out from school. Now, 10 years later, I want to go back to get my degree in Computer Science. Going into the tech field seemed like a logical progression for me and I am happy to return to what I enjoy learning about. Even being a script monkey would be a vast improvement over my previous job. I wanted something better. I want to be better.

Lastly, I am moving away for good. The city I am in has been my home for 29 years and I think it is time to move away from this. To start something new, I must get rid of the things that are not working and this place is one of them. I am moving in a month and a half and that is going to mean a bit of radio silence on my part for a bit on my blogs and writing. I am sorry for that but I need time to get my life together (as well as getting my driving permit). Everything will be put on pause for the time being in order for me to make the right step forward.

I hope you guys understand and I thank you for sticking with me for so long. I will see you soon when all of this is sorted out.
