Oh, they acknowledged her! Patricia nods and retracts her hands, before patting her stomach and frowning.

“...Oh. You’re hungry.”

It was a moment’s thought before the dragoness sighed, rummaging around in her handbag before handing the girl a small card. It had an address on it, not too far off from where they were, actually. Perhaps about ten to fifteen minutes of a walk?

‘What a rather specific request!’ The male thought to himself as he went on to examine her end of the bargain. Though, rather than confirmation, his mind was swaying more on what he could do with these. Maybe giving one bottle to Patchouli as a sigh of forgiveness for the black-white’s habits…

At the end, the half-youkai would lightly shake their head before having their eyes shift back onto this pale skinned woman. “I believe, I have just enough for this exchange. As for a reagent, sadly I don’t have any in stock.” Not anymore, anyway. 

“Do please excuse me while I go fetch what you’re looking for at the back.” With this, he’d give a bow as he continued to speak as he went off. “Do take a seat while you wait.” Rinnosuke would add, gesturing her at the one beside her. Though, if she was looking to sit in something more comfortable than a wooden stool, then she could sit on the sofa on the side.

The dragoness chose to remain standing, casting a glance around the shopkeeper’s abode. It was decidedly less well off than her ancestral home, or even the ramshackle shack her brother had now erected and called a shrine - but somehow, it didn’t feel like a shop. Rather, it felt as though selling things was simply a hobby, or a way to pass the time, and the man’s true interest was in his wares, rather than seeing them sold.

One trinket did catch her eye, however -  a curious thing that managed to reek of magic, though she couldn’t tell what sort at first glance. Footsteps alerted her of the shopkeep’s return, and she glanced over her shoulder at him before returning her attention to the item she beheld before her.

“Yes, Eirin is the best doctor you will ever meet.  Whatever your… ‘issues’, I’m sure she can handle it in due time.”  The woman seemed rather uncomfortable talking about these…  issues…  so Kaguya figured it best to leave that subject alone for the time being.

“So where exactly from the Outside do you hail from, Kasumi?  I’m afraid I am not very familiar with the Shimizu clan…  Or much else of the current state of the Outside, for that matter.”

A quiet sip was taken at the pause, and the cup was quietly set down once the princess had started speaking, for the second time, those large blue eyes going distant for a few moments before focusing back onto the other.

“I came from the North Sea. At least, that was where I was hatched, though... I have not seen my home in thousands of years.”
