Regnad is the masculine form of regnal. It is made from the root words rega, danal and nada (man)

SF-LF 1 on the right

The first attempt by twinnow to create a fighter that could be deployed from orbit. It became very effective at providing precision airstrikes from orbital launch facilities.

It's design was not quite up to orbital standard however so it was made into a regular atmospheric fighter with orbital capability.

This design is rather unique in that it's wings and engine block were made to detach in case of emergency, which made the entire cockpit an escape pod. This also provided extra supplies and shelter for stranded pilots.

This is the design Twinnow used in the Twinnow-Riek War.

SF-LF 14

a very experimental design, taking advantage of nanotechnology and new manufacturing techniques. Also including the first small scale Dark Drive allowing it to reach FTL speeds and enable interstellar missions. A new feature is the boxwing design of its wings

This design was never put into active service, only serving as a learning experience for the designers.

SF-LF 15

The current version in use. Sporting a streamlined hull compared to v.14 and a slightly improved Dark Drive. Sharing the boxwing design of its predecessor, though with a vastly reduced profile and weight.

It is a far better spacecraft than all previous designs and even surpasses most of them as an aircraft.

Politans

Humans, us. Politans are the dominant species of the claimed galaxy although not the most populous. Native to New alterni, Known as Erde before they developed space travel, and Polita some time after they had colonised much of the CG*. They are a very tribalistic and individualist species. They are relatively weak but tend to continue functioning after more damage than Taurans. They are very adaptable and have an incredibly high level of stamina due to their persistence hunting past.

Taurans

Taurans are a large bipedal species native to Celia, called Taurus by the first humans to discover the species. Taurans are significantly taller and vastly stronger than Politans. Despite this they are much less violent especially to smaller individuals. This is a part of their highly conformist nature, which allows them to easily settle into most cultures. Taurans have a greater range of hearing than Politans but cannot hear quiet sounds as well. They are also unable to understand music of any kind, though the lyrics will be perfectly understood, a history of excellent poetry has taken the place of music in Tauran cultures.

Kilans

Kilans are a very small six limbed species. They are very territorial and isolationist but otherwise fit well in politan society. Kilans live in groups of at least 10 individuals known as a hive but these hives can be as many as a few thousand, hives can group together into swarms though this is uncommon. hives are made up of one matriarch and the rest being workers and soldiers. A Kilan will always prioritise their own hive over others but will surprisingly prioritise members of other species before those of other hives.

Djun

There is still little known about this species. They live almost entirely on a single ringworld with a population in the quadrillions. As a whole they are incredibly advanced, almost godlike in comparison to humanity but they are also isolationist, prefering to keep to themselves and only interfere when they are threatened.
