Life has always been very chaotic for me, and everyone here supporting me through that is always heart warming and lovely to hear; after all, you’re all my friends!

Hi! Sorry I’ve been absent for really long, but I am not currently writing anything, and there a couple of reasons for this;

1) I’m moving in two weeks! My life is so chaotic right now and I’m hardly writing anything that isn’t imagines.

2) I’m in zines, so all my energy has been focused on that for now!

3) I’ve kind of lost the inspiration for imagines. This has happened a couple of times, but I’ve always returned; I’m currently debating on bringing on another admin to help out with the blog!

4) It feels like the pieces I put work into and all my heart and emotion are passed over for NSFW hc/imagines or something that I spent five minutes on. And I guess it’s something I need to get used to, but me writing imagines came from wanting to be in a situation where I have these characters in my life to help me. It’s just natural internet culture but, still.

5) I’ve been writing a lot of fanfic, and it’s been so different from imagines in a good way. I love it, and right now, that’s what I’m obsessed with. I’ve been writing for HQ!! and BNHA and other series I love and I have a writing blog and it’s amazing and I’m having so much fun!

I’m sure I’ll return in due time!

Also being such a good player and having that hard exterior shell he probably discouraged a lot of people to talk to him unwillingly. I love Ushijima so goddamn much, and I hate to see him demonised in the Haikyuu!! community or just written OOC because people lack an understanding of him. The thing I love so much about Haikyuu!! is that there are no real ‘antagonists’ in the overall story, just competition that want the same thing, yet it still remains an interesting story! Ushijima isn’t an antagonist just as much as the other captains like Kuroo, Oikawa, and Bokuto aren’t, but in a purely plot perspective all of these captains that are against Karasuno (the protagonist) are antagonists.

And that’s so interesting!

I fully believe that the reason Ushijima is blunt is because volleyball was the one thing that he was really, really good at and kept improving at at a rapid pace and so he kept improving himself and didn’t have any friends who were as fully invested in volleyball him as a kid and teenager. I believe that as he realises that maybe he’s really not the strongest he can be in university, that he’ll take a break and make friends and have some of those interactions!

Ushijima needs more love in the fandom because he is misunderstood, but I’m so glad that people aren’t assassinating his character is so much and that people aren’t constantly demonising him.I love how respectful and amazing the Haikyuu!! fandom is!
