Women in translation month is celebrated in

They were enclosed in bars of ignorance but they revolted
As the ship with tremendous thoughts floated
Leviathans rose to wreck the ship
Swinging swords of knowledge ,shallots got the grip
The shore of celebration was reached
With darkness wading off and barriers breached
Paying tribute to poetesses from all around the world who turned the shackles down and with their writing prowess triumphed the world of literature . They refused to kowtow in-front of fearsome and dominating men . Instead of cowering ,they kindled flambeau of knowledge in the world which was covered by clouds of insolent and inconsiderate patriarchy. From Enheduanna to vakhs of Lal Ded the remarkable work by females translated by various people of the world which widened their ambit of readership is celebrated as women in translation month .
Even the feat of transgenders in literature is celebrated this month .This month brings in light the anonymous female authors whose work was well praised but beneath their real identity . So in 2014 an Israeli biochemist Meytal Radzinski came up with this international event to make writings of oppressed people known to all. To make them aware that every human can dive in ocean of knowledge and come up with best pearls of creation, thus creating a name marking their existence in world .
