birthdays are weird when you’ve been chronically suicidal since age 11

rlly weird how sometimes you can run into and recognize ppl you don’t know. The receptionist at my psych appointment today used to work at a store in the mall and chatted with me about the lunar chronicles after i recognized them from their cosplays of the book characters. This was at least 7 years ago so I didn’t mention it bc I look wildly different (and also that seemed creepy idk) but it was a weird feeling. recognizing a complete and total stranger. idk man
