beneath the boughs do we lie

          mana aligns within the scale for sadistic tendencies as well as masochistic ones when in bed with a partner and leans a little heavier towards the former.   they enjoy being a little rough and demanding on their significant others or whoever they may be hooking up with as long as it’s within predicated and agreed on terms ( they delight in mixing pleasure with pain— toeing the lines that each of them can handle, and not in actually causing an unpleasant experience ). ‘ the mood ’, so-to-speak, for mana themselves can also fluctuate or be swayed; so whereas in one encounter mana may take more to inflicting punishments or rewards, they may be more openly seeking or accepting it the next. 

          while a switch by nature— and by no means shy of utilizing said fact— due to comfort ( or lack thereof at the beginning ) they typically aim to establish a more dominant role through-and-through within the bedroom. and if they are unable to have it then mana usually provides an attempt to deviate into defaulting towards any position that will afford them to have some feeling of ‘ control ’ ( cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, etc. ) 

          but once mana has established enough of a basic level of comfort to their partner that’s when they become more vocal about the fact that they actually do not mind being pinned, held, or otherwise guided around; and they’ll be more likely to approach the subject of things like restraints or depriving themself of certain senses. make the fight for it fun, too, struggle a little with them before either side finally relents— don’t make it easy.

          if you don’t keep their mouth busy for them, then mana will do it themselves.   they thrive off of kissing, biting— teasing pretty much any part of skin they can get between their teeth or with their tongue. so to say they’ve developed somewhat of an oral fixation wouldn’t be inaccurate; they’re quite fond of going down on others for extended periods of time. favorite places on their partners bodies to mark up are often thighs, necks / throat, the chest … it’s also an easy way for mana to muffle themselves from being loud. 

          being into giving and receiving marks.   mana’s penchant to leave bites and scratches reflects their own favoritism for acquiring bite marks and fingerprint / hand shaped bruises on areas like the hips or waist from being gripped and handled a little too tightly.

          their hands tend to wander just as much as their mouth does,   and so between the two there’s often little that’s left uncovered or wanting for attention. they like to push and pull at their s/o’s ( tugging hair, dragging them closer, moving them around, gratifying or teasing squeezes— just feeling them ). sex with mana is as much about the satisfaction at the end of it as it is about enjoying the moment— it’s one of the only times they will want to be as close as physically possible. 

          exhibitionism and voyeurism.   mana’s interest and engagement in mutual masturbation with their partner(s)— touching each other, touching themselves in front of each other, giving the other direction(s) as a method of foreplay, picking areas with the ‘risk’ of being caught— these are all things mana has enjoyed and does enjoy doing. they’re experimental when it comes to sex and after a while during a hook-up if nothing changes or pushes past avenues that have already been explored multiple times; mana tends to pull back from the physical engagement of the relationship and might soon end it if they don’t just let it die out by itself.

          i also feel like the honorary mention to the use of mirrors is something that should be brought up at this point as well.   it ties into the point above and also one that i have yet to go over— but mana isn’t shy about using reflective surfaces during the act in order to watch and have their partner see as well ( shoutout to the reverse cowgirl for this one ).  bonus points if there’s eye contact through the mirror

          mana can also entertain a willingness for multiple partners during a session but never goes past threesomes—  the experience of feeling overwhelmed and overcrowded by the sheer amount of bodies is a feeling that they can find themselves uncomfortably falling victim to. it is an immediate mood killer that ends in them feeling agitated as well before the end of it and has been a cause of mana leaving during intimacy and avoiding it for a period of time after.

          they’re a fan of having lovers of all volume levels.   but having a subtle, slight preference to those who are loud is something they can’t say they don’t have ( mana themselves starts out as someone who is quiet, only to grow increasingly vocal over time ). mana derives pleasure from the pleasure of their partners and can ( surprisingly ) be a rather selfless and attentive lover. they’re sometimes known to forgo their own needs just to focus on their lover, or have just chosen to take care of themselves afterwards.

          do not expect them to stay longer than the sex if it’s a fling or newly started friends with benefits relationship.   they’ll either clean up quickly and leave or choose to clean up at home. the presence of them falling asleep for long and staying afterwards is a level of comfort that typically hasn’t developed in the past towards any previous partners. for that reason too, and in not wanting to have to deal with kicking anyone out, mana doesn’t really invite partners they’re not invested in inside their own apartment. they’ll meet up somewhere or go to the other person’s place. there is a very clear and maintained boundary for that, and it’s not something they’ll shy away from saying to one’s face. 

          mana has a praise and an overstimulation kink.   there’s no way around it.  tell them how good they’re doing before tipping them over for the nth time that night, how pretty they look— anything. it’s the best way to make them a melting, mindless, and wet-lashed mess. sometimes they don’t like to think; or they want to be able to not think after sex, and it’s a guilty pleasure of theirs to indulge in letting another person pull their strings so thoroughly.
