There’s also just the fact that he’s had little to no role in this story, as Ansy & co. are just visitors in Sinnoh, not research assistants. Also, he’s a spitting image of his ancestor, Kamado (albeit +20 years) - Kamado does mention wanting to pursue education & study in the postgame of PLA, but it might upset the balance of space-time if he sees his descendant (especially since this would be the first he heard of Mizumi being from the future, the only ones actually knowing about that being Professor Laventon & Sasmu).
