Something I wanted to yap about is just how socially awkward Corbeau really is.
Yeah he's charming and charismatic...but very much in a business sense. Not so much personally. His mentors Giovanni and Lysandre are definitely not the best role models for "personal relationship graces" (although Lysandre is a lot better in that regard compared to Giovanni).
Coupled that with living on the street...it's why he's so adorkable with the player character because Oh My Arceus someone he can be around and not be on his guard!? Qhat is this sorcery?
There's that grunt that mentions that while he's intoxicating it also makes him vulnerable it makes you wonder if he let someone in close and got hurt and now he puts up even more of a front. It's why he takes such a liking to the player, he can be himself and not get hurt. A true rarity in his hard life.
All this to say is that Corbeau is emotionally constipated and a dork when he gets to know someone in a way that does not involve him having to extort them or them being involved with the underbelly of Lumiose City.

- along with the meal corbeau offered lysandre a place to stay at the rust syndicate but was declined
- they didn’t sit in silence: corbeau told lysandre of the work he’s done for lumiose, of what he’s done to give back and make the city more beautiful
- adder wasn’t as close to lysandre as corbeau was; having said that, he vowed to never forgive lysandre’s betrayal if only because of how deeply it affected corbeau and for forcing adder to see him at his lowest
Been thinking non-stop about this AU,, I wish I could do more than just simple doodles but university and working on getting a driver's license is taking ALL my time (╥﹏╥)
I do have some extra general thoughts/ideas for this AU... I'm gonna put some of them in a read more after the banner here! ^_^
Ok so! I have a few thoughts related to the doodles :]c Just gonna put them all in list form here
Emmet's Eelektross becomes extremely clingy to Ingo. Emmet and Ingo share and swap their Pokemon a lot so I think they're very close with each other's teams. Eelektross will cry like a sad wet puppy if he's left alone for too long. He spent almost an entire month clinging to Ingo after Emmet disappeared.
Chandelure has become very protective of Ingo after Emmet's disappearance. She could sense something powerful had been there when she found Ingo knocked out in the subway tunnel. Something beyond normal Pokemon.
Continuing off that point, I think the literal tearing open of space time left a lasting effect on the area. Ghost and psychic types are especially affected and do their best to avoid the tunnel. Which also put another roadblock in the way of finding out what happened there in the first place, seeing as Ingo doesn't remember.
Any attempt made by psychic types to assist Ingo with remembering or trying to peer into his memories generally doesn't end well. Both for Ingo and for the Pokemon involved.
I like to think Ingo is a very chatty person. He enjoys talking at length about all sorts of things. Usually, he'd do that with Emmet. But seeing as Emmet isn't here, and not as many people enjoy his rambling in the same way Emmet does, Ingo starts talking to himself a lot instead.
Ingo has started taking care of all Emmet's joltiks
Now for Emmet, I think he and Sneasler would get along really well. I like to think Sneasler is very mischievous and Emmet definitely has a similar energy. She definitely encourages some chaos, but can also go a bit "mom mode" and stop him when he goes overboard. (Aka scruff him like a kitten lol)
Emmet WILL rant to Sneasler about the other wardens, clan politics or whatever. He thinks arguing constantly is a waste of time and generally tunes out or just straight up leaves if warden/clan meetings devolve into arguments.
Emmet and Melli cannot stand each other. Melli removed the torches from Wayward cave ONCE and Emmet has held a grudge since. He goes out of his way to mess with Melli whenever he can.

- getting ingo close to emmet by distracting him was elesa’s plan to begin with; she’s knows the only way to snap emmet out of it without hurting him would be through ingo
- the subway is a manifestation of emmet’s soul and mind; emmet is conducting the train and it’s been non stop ever since masika the witch’s poison infected him
- skyla’s speed as a boomerang is entirely dependent on her own control; she can lessen or lengthen the time it takes return to an incredible degree
- train lingo:
“clear board” = when the railroad track is clear = elesa without her weapon (nothing to block his blade’s path) giving emmet the clear to cut her down
“casey” = short for casey jones = meaning /speedy/fast engineer and emmet’s nick name for elesa
“brass collar” = railroad official = a high position referencing elesa and skyla’s positions as wielder and death scythe and
- corbeau takes volleyball seriously due to his compeltibe nature; he will wholeheartedly jump 8 feet in the air to spike or dive head first to keep a ball in play
- corbeau doesn’t swim much while adder loves to take a dive; corbeau prefers to scavenge for shells and walk along the water (<- he will give the prettiest shell he finds to mr. gray as a souvenir <- a major honor)
- hemlock (arbok) enjoys sunbathing on the sand while argent (skarmory) likes flying in the salty breeze with the wingulls; lupine (scolipede) prefers to stay in the shade and nap
- corbeau doesn’t drink much alcohol but he’ll indulge in a sweet and icy drink to beat the heat; he prefers fruiter and sweeter drinks like spiked punches or blue alolans
- reason why corbeau wears full coverage at the beach:
