Backlog Reviews - Spice and Wolf series

Here’s one that was on the backburner for ages because now is a good time to watch anime that is different then your typical ones. Spice and Wolf and it’s second season is about a journey of a merchant and a lost wolf spirit/god where they travel to different towns trading goods trying to earn some money as well as trying to gather some clues about an old legend about a wolf that might help the wolf spirit get back to her hometown.

The pacing of this anime is generally slow and has lot of dialogue there are times when you can get bored a lot. But right happened to be a great time to watch it for me. So it really depends on your mood on whether or not you feel like a calm anime to watch. If you have watched Maou Maoyuu Yuusha (and possibly Log Horizon,) this is very similar in that case by trying to make a profit in money.
