the other day i went to see minions & monsters with my roommates(rlly good btw). and in the car otw there, my mom texted me and i sighed and said. my mother makes me want to kill myself. and my roommate goes, what happened? is she messaging you now? and im like yeah and he asks, is she okay? and i say yeah..., shes always okay. and my roommate laughs and says "I'm glad we're all on the same page about our mothers" and that made me laugh because yeah that does about sum up our conversations about our mothers

does anyone understand me. i just finished we have always lived in the castle yesterday, the book and decided to watch the 2018 movie last night. and it was not good LOL which was expected but i was charmed by certain aspects. like i dont take great offense to movie adaptations i actually feel im pretty open minded and think the movie was overall cute im just genuinely perplexed by the changes and choices made. but anyways. the entire time i was reading (well, listening sorry idk if audiobook listeners are scorned or not) i was thinking of secret ceremony. merricats character reminded me so much of cenci. childlike and obsessive. and when i watched the movie i was a little surprised by taissa farmigas portrayal of merricat. but pleasantly so. i thought she was so cute and that it was a fun take on her character. and she reminded me so much of brigitte fitzgerald (probably my main appeal to her direction) down to the way she spoke. and the relationships between all of these women in their respective stories relate in many ways im too lazy to actually type but just know there are thoughts.
