Is the moral of Inanimate Insanity just
There's going to be people who hate you and there's going to be people who like you and that is okay.
Your worst enemy has a mother who loves him very much. Someone who has lied to you and treated you like you were nothing has a collection of close friends who value her. Your partner who has been nothing but kind to you has people who he has actively hurt. Your abuser has someone who worships his every move.
You can't please everyone. But there are people who will accept you regardless.
