Okay, off the bat I will say, the premise is actually so cute—but yeah this is totally AI lmao. The ‘thanks, Genma’ is such a giveaway. Should be ‘thanks, Pop/old man’ considering the summary is Ranma-centric. Like, c’mon.

Also, what’s with the ‘red torii gate in the rain’ bit? They’d be in their cursed forms in that scenario, and that’s supposed to be the big climactic scene? Hmm…

Another giveaway that the AI doesn’t compute the relationships between all the characters: Akane throws the boys out and Ryoga lands in the koi pond right in front of her and…nothing happens? It’s not established that P-chan got revealed to her, and Ryoga isn’t cured because the summary mentioned a kiss happens when he’s in pig form, and then the interaction between Ranma and Ryoga directly after feels like the names ought to be swapped around?

Like what the hell is this. First of all, Ryoga’s line about Ranma ‘showing up like a bad penny’…makes no sense. He’s the one who showed up unannounced. And Ranma’s usually the kind to make quips at others through idioms like this. And then Ranma volleys back with the bra comment??Yeah, it was totally supposed to be Ranma who fell in the pond, and Ryoga who landed in the bush. We’re two seconds into this fic and my eyes are rolled into the back of my skull.

What a weak way to introduce this idea lmao

This was ‘designed by Genma and Happosai’, two literal con-artists and sneak theives, and Ranma and Ryoga are just…told they’re going and they just…do it? This would have worked so much better if they had been coerced into it. Lure them in with something they would have willingly gone to, like, just spitballing off the top of my dome here…a potential for a cure? Or maybe Ranma gets lumped with dealing with a demon causing havoc at the temple and Ryoga, who just stumbles onto the situation as he always does, gets roped into the hijinks, or maybe Akane was supposed to go with Ranma (because this is a ‘get-along’ camp, which Genma and Soun would totally try to get them to go to) but then Akane has some other engagement and gets Ryoga to fill in for her, and Ryoga goes as a favour to her and to try and impress her.

I just made all that up! And this fuckin’ spat out the lamest, boring, out-of-character set-up of all time.

I skipped ahead because it’s all just short scenes with no meat on their emaciated bones, but had to call this the fuck out. They’re in a HOT spring, and yet triggered their curses? 🤦 and then Ryoga TALKED in his pig form??? This is so damn stupid.

Yet another example of the AI clearly having no knowledge of the characters it’s working with. Ranma’s first kiss is a BIG moment in the series, since it’s stolen by Mikado Sanzenin. And Ryoga WAS THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED.

We’ve reached the rain scene under the red torii gate that was mentioned in the summary and the bot clearly has the rules of the curse fucked up and thinks hot water triggers it cause what the hell, this scene is happening in the rain and yet neither of them are in cursed form.

Ranma: “I’m scared all the time around you”

Ryoga: “Then shut up” *kisses him*

LMAO WHAT THIS MAKES NO SENSE

Again, zero consideration for the interpersonal connections between the characters from the bot, because Ranma and Ryoga kissing and then coming back and seeing Akane, and her just pleasantly smiling at them and not instantly clocking their guilty asses? Nahh.

Then Ryoga’s all like “What are we now” right in front of her??
