            ( his hand weakly outstretched,               reaching for her frail fingers. )

                        “i know, but—it’s not over.                        not yet. t—there’s still time.”

     ( she put her hand in his, squeezing      it gently. her eyebrows raised as did      the corners of her lips after he posed      his question. )

            ( his eyes fell to his abdomen, where                his hands had been crossed over.                ATOP his head was a beanie that was                attempting to keep him warm as the                world got COLDER around him. )

                        “i’m not going to LEAVE you. not now,                          b—but soon. i feel it, emma. this time                          feels different than the others.” 

     ( in order to prevent the oncoming tears      from falling, emma closed her eyes. she      sighed and dug her nails into the cuff of      her sweater that covered her fist. her      head shook as she opened her eyes &      her gaze fell to the floor. )

       ❝ I c-can’t. Emma, I’m weak. ❞

            ( a small laugh left his lips as he                shook his head. his body ACHED               & it wasn’t like they could just remove               all of his limbs and it would go away.               it EVADED through so much already. )

                        “i kinda knew i was going to                        eventually since the beginning                                   of this, emma.” 

     ( she hated how he had the i'm already      dead mentality planted into his brain. it      was too early for him to die, too early for      her to say goodbye. emma didn't want      to say goodbye to him for the last time.      the fact that this may be their last proper      conversation KILLED her inside. )

"Does that mean I can  have all of them     ?”
