1. Floss in the car. I warned you this may be kind of gross. BUT flossing is something that is often overlooked and after a long day ain’t nobody got time fo dat! SO I buy packs of those little individual flossers and get my flossing done during my commute! You can get them on the cheap cheap at most dollar stores. 

2. Glitter nail polish. This is brilliant if you don’t have the time and or don’t like throwing your money away on getting polish changes or gel nails. Glitter polish makes you look put together, fun and is hard to notice when it chips. I buy clear Essie brand polish with big glitter chunks. It’s also easy to touch up on the go! 

3. Brushing your teeth in the shower. I know what you’re thinking, “Wow Carly this sure is a lot of oral hygiene in one blog”. Yes. Yes it is. Brushing your teeth in the shower allows you to feel productive while you’re staring off into space and getting introspective; questioning if every major life decision you’ve made was incredibly foolish and if you should maybe go back to school and become a Kindergarten teacher; meanwhile the water cascades down your back because you ARE showering with your back facing the shower head as that is the correct way to shower. If you shower facing the shower head for the majority of the duration of your shower then you’re savage and we can not be friends. 

4. Dry your damp hair with a paper towel. I don’t blow dry my hair unless I HAVE to and drying your hair with a towel can actually cause breakage. I re-use the same piece of paper towel quite a few times because I am gross and environmentally woke. They make paper towel so absorbent these days. Surely you must have seen the commercials. If you weren’t distracted by the handsome lumberjack you would have notice that one sheet can clean an entire kitchen and still not tear. I simply hang the sheet after I use it to dry my hair and let it dry and re-use it the next time I shower until it starts to tear and can no longer be used. It is better for the health of your hair and also speeds up the air drying process.
