Like the MCU should’ve ended with Endgame

“Well you’ve liked movies and shows that have come out since endgame!” I have and I do, but they’re not the MCU and everyone knows it, if they are the MCU it completely undermines the whole point of the older movies in the series. And that comes from a person who didn’t really even like Endgame that much.

Like the new MCU movies feel as much canon to the storyline as my weird TES-MCU “au” crossover that’s basically the whole premise of this blog.

And you’re probably thinking, “Oh you’re biased, you don’t like the new movies because they cancel out your headcanons” and to that I say, they really don’t my hcs are quite adaptable (I have had them since 2018 and let me tell you they have changed) and uh yes I am. But I am also right. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills, am I the only one who remembers how basically every new MCU movie gets reviewed no matter how good it is?

“Oh it was superhero fatigue which we’re over now,” It was never superhero fatigue, it was because the MCU was supposed to be over! Everyone was finding random bullshit to complain about, and at the time people pointed out correctly that it was because the MCU was supposed over with “ENDGAME” and now everyones gonna go see that movie and it could be a great but I bet that a bunch of people, who were MCU superfans are gonna come out of theaters dissatisfied and not knowing why. And I can tell you this because they’re already disappointed. Because something that they really liked, that they loved, that was important to their childhoods, is getting dragged around like a dead horse.

And here’s one way I know that the MCU has gone on too long. I was an infant, I wasn’t even a year old, when the first MCU movie came out… I am an adult now.

I remember when Thor: the Dark World came out, because I was too young to see it and my brother and father went without me.
