Evaluation
The word for today's evaluation is.... Drum roll... DISAPPOINTED. It was suppose to be a great year, I wanted to do amazing projects and yet I just handed in my Final Major Project of my second year at uni and its crap! I started so well, I loved my idea (I still do), I was so ambitious! I spent a lot of time planning and filming, I also had to go back and film again because of the unusable footage of the first time. I putted a lot of effort in it and I ended with a bad project without even knowing why. I had all the footage except for the part with Joe in the boat due to the unavailability of the "boat guys". I try to create the clouds my self in Houdini, I really liked but because I started testing to late and because the computer wasn't liking it, I didn't been able do them neither. I did some clean up but the main part of the project is still waiting to be done. I didn't managed my time properly again, I arrived at the end of the project with less then half of the work done, and not even good enough. I'm so disappointed with my self. Next year all of this has to change. For sure I'm gonna redo all my project during the summer, good exercise for roto and keying which I definitely need. So, instead of being a music video my project became a music video trail for the music video that I'm gonna do during the summer. Expect for the final result I enjoyed this project, I was very enthusiastic about my idea and work with my 2 actors was a pleasure. Next will be better.
