Boku No Hero Traitor Theory
Reading the new chapters especially Chapter 168 it made me think about who the traitor might be.
Of course a lot of people speculate it to be Aoyama… But really? You think this majestic of a specimen would ever do that? Look at this beauty.
Nope ! Actually the opposite, he isn’t the traitor, but he probably KNOWS who the traitor is.
Okay back to Chapter 168 we see Aoyama stalking Deku and just being creepy but his intentions where harmless and somewhat just pure encouragement but I feel like its just an excuse as he decided not to say who the traitor is and decided to give up or that Deku wouldn’t understand?
Okay so if you look at this the translation is converted to “ Still waters Run deep” Of course this can mean many things but I also did a google translate since is 100% accurate ( JK )
Okay so this is a bit of a red flag? Why would Aoyama warn Deku? To beware of something?
If my English teacher taught me anything it was to analyze till you die. Anyway, water that sleeps of course could be warning him about maybe a hero who isn’t much in the spot light as much? someone no one notices or is worried about ? You’d usually warn people about heavy and fast waters because they are dangerous, but still waters? Not really that is, if theres something under all that calm water? Like the deepness? something inside a harmless character is dangerous.
Also lets not forget about this page. This page completely made me go a 180 on things. But this is probably the most dramatic Aoyama I’ve ever seen and hes done a lot of dramatic and dazzling scenes. Why is he so sad? Like he wanted to say something different, but decided not to because he decided not to? Or… because they are in such a public area… and ANYONE could hear… and who would you most be weary about, someone you cannot SEE ….
It’s the perfect spy ! Someone no one ever notices not even the reader ! She barely is in any chapters, everyone in Class 1 A has had a bit of recognition and even showing off their fighting and BEATING up the bad guys. You never see Toru fight anyone. And when shes not there you just assume shes invisible, like duh ?
Personally I LOVE Toru. I love the mystery of how we dont know how she looks like and even though she is invisible you can tell her personality !
But even though shes part of the main girl squad we barely know ANYTHING about her… Less than anyone in Class A 1. We dont know her parents, her past, her life, her hobbies HELL WE HAVEN’T EVEN SEEN HER FIGHT !
Back in season 1 or Chapter 14
So keep this in mind. Remember when they where transported to different ares to beat different villians.
The running pattern was that you would be paired up with those you are closest with such as Deku, Tsu and the character that shall not be named being together and being transported together, even Bakugou and Kirishima where together and transported. But have you noticed? Toru said that she was with Todoroki the whole time but you can see, shes far away from him ! there is no way she would be transported with him! We barely even saw her there ! And of course its a running joke but it’s suspicious on how shes furthest away from him yet paired up with him .

Where are they ? If we were just told that Toru was with Todoroki in the Landslide zone then it would have been fine with us, its not like it made a difference to the story for us since there wasn’t even any attention on them.
But it’s weird. When Todoroki froze the whole Landslide there is no possible way she could have avoided that, the villains didn’t ! And he himself was surprised he didn’t freeze her since he “ COULD HAVE” Frozen her.
But if you notice, Aoyama and Toru are nowhere to be found, they haven’t told their whereabouts. Why?
Here’s my theory:
Toru is the traitor, she probably is working with the League of Villains, she must have run off to hide to keep away from the fight or maybe even talk to one of the villains to give them more information, and what I think is Aoyama must have overheard and been there…
This part is especially suspicious. To have their whereabouts unknown and later on having him clearly hide something and know something is suspicious to me. He probably asked this wondering if anyone actually knew where he was and seeing what he might have seen such as Toru maybe talking or exchanging information with the League of Villains. He’s hiding something and it’s a secret, but he want to tell someone because maybe after the incident at the Camp , he realized that his classmates lives are in danger, but he can’t just make such a bold statement.
There is a lot of evidence on Toru being the villain. I just think that Aoyama and Toru both being in unknown places and Aoyama knowing something, something that someone isn’t who everyone thinks they are. Someone who looks innocent and harmless but is actually dangerous.
Toru being the Traitor is a bit obvious but thats what I personally think. I mean to me, shes the most suspicious, not being able to see her fight any of the Legue of Villains because she works with them ? Just the lack of information we have and the other evidence really makes me think that she might be the traitor ?
BOI DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE SHOPPING MALL CHAPTER/EPISODE WHERE TORU WAS THE ONE WHO SUGGESTED IT AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW HE FOUND DEKU!
