Hi, I'm ghost (or fruit, up to you really) and this gonna be where I keep track of the books I read, and 'host' a book club of sorts. Just for fun really. I'm not going to being giving good reviews or anything, it's just me having a bit of fun and talking about the books I read into the void.

History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

The perfect book to read when a stranger shows up an hour early for the house inspection you intended to be out for (leaving the more competent adult (in my case my dad) to deal with it) and want to avoid any further awkward conversation!

I'm still utterly in love with these characters. I'm invested in their stories, both present and past. They're so in depth and feel almost real, it's amazing. The dynamics here are brilliant, and incredibly well written. Milly, a recurring character through Zombabe, the babylove trilogy, and this trilogy is quickly becoming a background character I adore.

I adore the vampire system, and I like that there isn't instant knowledge about it. They're working things out as they go with a little help from Milly and others. I'm looking forward to hopefully learning more about the vampire system and the character back stories in the third book of the trilogy!

Given my love of the first book, and my general adoration of occult/paranormal queer romance books this was a guaranteed hit. It's one of the best books I've read in a while, and I highly recommend it. The whole universe here is brilliant!

A YA sapphic vampire romance, with childhood friends and murder roadtrips

I'm invested in the characters, Sadie is amazing! The history, and their dynamic is brilliant. The writing is spectacular. The call backs/references to the Babylove trilogy, and Zombabe (how I wish for the triology to be complete one day) are wonderful. I wouldn't say it's necessary to read them first but they do take place about 20 years prior and there's a few nods to them. (And Frankie and Ivy cameos, my beloveds!!)

The vampire system is amazing, I love it all! The characters are brilliant, I hope we learn more about their backstories in the other two books!

I do love sapphic romances, and I love vampires, zombies, ghosts the whole shebang, so this was bound to be right up my alley. Definitely a book and series I'd recommend, in fact I have been to people in my life that might be interested in it
