in my humble opinion, the most beautiful thing abt love is the effort. like the one that doesn't even feel like effort, just deliberate action motivated by pure love and desire to make another person happy. making conscious choices in favour of that person, taking your time to create special moments and rituals, distance nor time notwithstanding

I love Mac DeMarco so much still, but I can’t listen to his music as much anymore because when I did I was going through some shit, and it just makes it hard to hear certain songs especially.

This is still accurate. I love Mac with my whole heart and I keep in touch with his mom after all these years. I’ve met so many incredible people because of him and what this account once was. Some of the songs still hurt but I will always love that guy.
