i do like ivan's design but i think it's the weakest of the angel trio imho THAT SAID i'm just really happy he has exactly the sinister aura i was hoping he would

idk how many ppl are still here but i'd like to get back to using this blog regularly(?) again and i also want to do a bit of a rebrand. i'll still draw bnha when i get the inspiration and talk abt it if anyone's interested but i don't think i want this blog to be for a specific fandom anymore

"i cried on purpose!! it was a ruse meant to confuse him!!" is quite possibly the funniest excuse afo could've made to explain why he was crying after failing to get his brother back

like i well and truly don't understand how ppl read that chapter and come away thinking that afo didn't experience significant trauma that shaped him into the man he is today like. trauma doesn't automatically mean redeemable or misunderstood i don't know why people think a character has to be ontologically evil to be irredeemable

i actually rly love afo i think he's a great character would love to examine his brain under a microscope

also i simply think it's ridiculous to ascribe morality to the actions of a starving orphaned newborn doing what it takes to survive

ftr i'm of the opinion that insisting that this chapter proves afo was "born evil" not only goes against a core theme of bnha's narrative but also strips him of the autonomy of his villainy
