"9k gold Crescent necklace converted from an old brooch hallmarked on the back circa 1870. Diameter of moon is 1 1/8" x 1" and the 10k chain attached is 16 1/2" in length. Design on the crescent is a harp in the middle with a floral motif on both sides of it. The gold on the crescent has a yellow pinkish tone but not as dark pink as what I'm used in seeing in rose gold. In great shape for age. On the back there had been a repair on the c clasp with some kind of pot metal that my jeweler did not get off completely. Doesn't take away from the beauty of this piece though."
