Excited to unveil our collaboration in Berlin on Valentine's Day @ Voo Store!

After the store, there's the party at Prince Charles. Come thru!

Agathe Rousselle is a beautiful, quiet, tall girl, she has very delicate features, is naturally poised and always pays great attention to detail. After-all, details are a great deal of her day-to-day job, because she's an embroiderer. A couple of years ago she thought of embroiding a message for a friend's birthday and then went on to learn how to hand-stitch by watching Youtube tutorials online. Just like that! She acquired a taste for the job and slowly became all her friends' official 'Cheeky hand-sewn underwear' provider. Eureka! The name of the brand was found, it was going to be 'Cheeky', for sure. For a while, Jean-André joined Agathe in the adventure and took over the designing of logos and drawings while she'd execute the stitching. They worked with the graphic designer Tyrsa and very soon Colette approached them for another collaboration with Kevin Lyons. Now, here we are in 2014 and Agathe is a full-time embroiderer, sewing every day and we, Girls Girls Girls, feel like it's finally our turn to let her know how much we admire her self-taught craft <3

Agathe Rousselle est belle, élancée, aux traits délicats et une attention toute particulière aux détails. Son métier c'est la broderie, alors il lui faut de la patience et une bonne dose de méticulosité. Il y a, à peu près deux ans, pour l'anniversaire d'un ami elle se met au défi de lui broder un message particulier en guise de cadeau. Elle apprend à faire ça sur le tas en matant des tutoriels sur Youtube. Petit à petit, Agathe y prend goût, se retrouve à comprendre le langage des points de broderie et devient vite la fournisseuse officielle de toutes ses copines en quête de culottes mignonnes et coquines. Hah! Le nom était tout trouvé, l'aventure allait s'appeler 'Cheeky' soit 'Culotté' en anglais. Elle collabore un temps avec Jean-André qui devient préposé aux dessins et à la direction artistique de la petite entreprise. Une collaboration avec le typographe Tyrsa et vite c'est Colette qui appelle Cheeky Boom et veut partager un projet avec Kevin Lyons. Nous voilà en 2014 - Agathe brode à temps plein. Et c'est à notre tour,  avec Girls Girls Girls, de lui dire combien on admire son travail d'orfèvre <3
