it’s been said that the   faces we see in our dreams are always faces we’ve seen in real life, whether we remember them or not.  i think this is why so many people compare love to dreaming, like a familiar melody wafting down an empty street, you try hard to recognize it, chase it around the corner, but by then it’s already too late.  i think this is what they mean when couples say ‘we fell in love,’ they mean, we bumped into each other while we were out chasing something else.  they mean, untold stories come in many forms, a face in passing, an old book hidden  behind a bookshelf,  a dream, they mean, i’ve been waiting my entire life for someone to open me.
