1) Suppose you have logged in as an Administrator. Now you want to access files from other account(Guest or Standard account). You might use log off or switch user options from the Start menu.

2) But instead you can go through a different way-

Go to My Computer. Select C: drive. Select Users, then select the name of the account in which your file is located say, for example, student.There you can see the different folders like Desktop, My Documents, etc. Open the folder where your file/folder is located.

1) Use Ctrl and + keys together to zoom in on any particular window.

2) Use Ctrl and - keys together to zoom out on any particular window.

Certain books are available in PDF format. But how can you download them for offline access is the question. Here’s the answer.

1) Type the name of the book in Google search. In the search list that appears, click the one which has PDF written before the title and URL.

2) After opening this file, right click on it and select Save Page As option. Save the file in the .pdf extension.

The books available in Books section on the Google page are not downloadable. They are available online only. 

For that we can use a software called Google Books Downloader(http://www.gbooksdownloader.com).

1) Enter the book URL.

2) Then enter the Output Format in which you want the book say PDF, JPEG, etc. 

3) Choose the download path in the Output Folder section. Then click on Start button.

There you go!! Your book will start downloading!

Hello, I’m going to let you know how to take screenshots on Windows 7. Screenshots are helpful when you want to show error messages or other messages on the screen for repairing your pc. 

1) To take screenshot of entire screen- press Print Screen (PrtScn)   button on the right top side of your keyboard. Then open any editor like Microsoft Office Word and directly use the Paste option.

2) To take screenshot of an active window only, select that window first and press Alt+Print Screen buttons together. Then use the Paste option in any editor.

3) To take screenshot of only a particular area in a window, use the Snipping Tool in Windows 7. Open Snipping tool. Then a plus sign appears. Select and drag through this plus sign on the area to capture. Release the mouse button. The screenshot the appears in the Snipping Tool editor. Save it.

Today I’m going to show you how to hide a folder on your computer.

1) Right click on the folder you want to hide. Select Properties. Select the General tab, then under the Attributes section select the check box besides the Hidden label. Click on OK button.

2) Go to Start -> Control Panel -> View by: Large Icons(at the top right corner) -> Folder Options. Select the View tab. Then under the Advanced Setting option we see the Hidden files and folders option. Under that select the radio button named- Don’t show hidden files, folders or drives. Then click on Apply and OK buttons.

     Your folder will not be visible.

3) If you want to make it visible select the radio button named-  show hidden files, folders and drives.

Today I’m going to let you all know about how to switch between different windows in windows 7. Suppose that you have opened up multiple applications at a time in Windows 7 and then you want to switch between them without minimizing. Let’s take a look-

1) Press the Windows Logo key first and then the Tab key.

2) All the opened windows will arrange one behind the other in a stack. Now holding down the Windows logo key and press Tab until the window you want is at the front of the stack and then release the Windows logo key.

This feature of Windows 7 is called Aero Flip 3d. So use it next time to save your time.
