Attended Converse’s newest campaign “Made By You”, a landmark brand campaign celebrating fans of the brand who have been expressing themselves and their creativity in Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers for nearly 100 years.

For the Spring 2015 campaign, Converse scoured the globe to collect beloved and distinctly personal Chucks sneakers which tells a story of their own transformation from blank to self-portrait of their owner.

The program was followed by a breathtaking fashion show

There you can take a “portrait” shot of your Chucks via the light set-up prepared by the program.

Portraits collected from the likes of international icons like Andy Warhol and Futura will be featured alongside portraits from everyday Chuck Taylor All Star wearers, and used in global exhibitions, which will turn the city streets of New York to Shanghai to Manila into art galleries.

Everyone has their constant battle everyday between wanting to dress nice and wanting to dress comfortably. But it’s really a huge day maker when you find something that brings you both and your productivity will solely depend on it.

Black and gray has really been my favorite combination when it comes to dressing up. I know, some may call it boring but this is really where I feel safe most of the time. I'm not really an all-out guy for striking colors but I love incorporating small hints of them on my outfit.

Yeah, I do feel safe when I wear black and gray but at the same time, I feel like I'm not allowed to smile just to pull of the look, you know what I mean? It's like I should be this masungit guy all day to give my look some justice lol

I find it perfect when my look is seemingly dull. I just put this on like The Hand of the King and I'm good to go!

I haven't used the expression "Thank God it's Friday" for a long time. My Saturday schedule always makes sure of that and that's why I feel like my weekend only lasts a day. But weekend is still a weekend and I'm often inclined to do or wear something that makes me feel like it is that time of the week indeed.

Woke up this morning at the beautiful sound of rain and my eyes immediately screamed "SUSPENDED!". I pulled my blanket closer and rolled up like a ball. That's when the alarm clock destroyed my growing relationship with my bed that moment and noticed that the rain stopped. It's amazing how the sunshine always hits my eye in the morning. 

With a pooped energy, I decided to wear something that is light enough if the day decided to keep it's gold and prepared as well if rain does pour later on. Played with different tones of blue and red to keep it interesting. So far, good vibes has been on my side since this morning and I hope I don't scare it away because I am really enjoying this!

This socks gave me more inner happiness than I should be getting from it. Haha I really enjoyed staring at the design while class was ongoing that I had to call the professor's attention to repeat what he just said. More interesting designs available at SM Accessories!

Whether you're a guy or a girl, let's face it, we all take our time fixing ourselves before we actually face the outside world. Even if girls usually take longer than us guys, we need to make sure that our face is actually presentable to everyone since that is the first thing people look at before they move on and judge to what we're wearing.

I had my fair share of acne breakouts in the past (it actually came to a point where it was actually unfair lol) and my friends up until today still tease me asking how I got rid of them lol. Everyone understands how breakouts can lower your self confidence big time. So embarassing!

One thing dermatologists proved is that lack of sleep can actually contributes to pimples. True! And I find it hard to manage my sleeping time because I'm on my last phase of college and everything is coming at full force so personal grooming can be quite a task to focus on lately. Whew! This is my first outfit post for quite some time now. I've been occupying myself with family activities, getting fit, improving my jumpshot, watching NBA games every morning and watching Supernatural every night with my sister.

It's fun!!

I haven't attended any events nor see any of my friends for a couple of weeks now and I can't say that I'm devastated by that. I actually miss these days when I make the gym my home and spend time with my whole family.

Here's what I wore to a day filled with food and coffee with half of my clan. Wearing one of my favorite hoodies, it really stands out when you're out there. Made different shades of blues my theme for this day and I liked how it turned out.

Basketball is one of my passion. I've been playing since I was a child and I've been an avid fan of the NBA. You start a conversation about NBA with me, and you'll never get me to stop! haha

That is why when we heard the news that the Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers will be having one of their pre-season game in partnership with the NBA Global Games here in the Philippines, I went nuts!!

Dwight Howard, an adidas global asset, a 7x NBA All-Star, 3x Defensive Player of the Year, Slam Dunk Champion and an Olympic Gold Medalist, was in Manila for the NBA Global Games Philippines 2013.

Apart from the much-awaited match between the Rockets and Pacers, Howard also participated in exhibition games in the adidas Signature Shots event. He showed off his moves to fans in the SM Mall of Asia Atrium as he put on a fun clinic on how he uses his skill and size to dominate on the court. Howard even went one-on-one against several lucky fans, who were even given souvenirs that had customized digital “signatures” based on Howard’s actual moves. These unique signatures were created through motion detecting cameras that tracked the way he moved the ball at the event.

Dwight Howard has one of the greatest personality off the court but is also one, if not the greatest, big man in the NBA today. To see him up close with his big build and 6'11'' height was such a great experience for NBA fans like me!

I lost one of my loved ones, one of the greatest person in my life just two weeks ago and I find it hard to find any motivation to post anything lately. I'm not busy, I'm just not in the mood. Who doesn't love the world's favorite frozen beverage, Slurpee?? I used to buy the largest cup back in the days when me and all of my cousins were still little and could all fit in one room for an epic sleep over. It brings back a lot of memories!

Australia came up with something ingeniously fun and wacky that sent people rushing to 7-11 with their crazy canisters, and even a wheelbarrow, to be filled with Slurpee!!

Slurpee Bring Your Own Cup Day was the phenomenon that brought out the kid in everyone, one "cup" at a time!

The Philippines' first ever Slurpee BYO Cup day happens on November 7, 2013! Yes, this coming Thursday!!

The people behind the collaboration of Coca-Cola and 7-Eleven getting their hands first on the Slurpee machine which will be very crowded later on.

You see, everyone can just walk in and pour that Slurpee into any container you can use! The hat in the picture was more for the picture but it gave me an idea.

You can just see how crazy you can get with your cups!! For only 29 pesos, you can showcase how nuts you are for Slurpee! haha

Here's my friend David Guison demonstrating everybody how you can abuse any type of cup as long as you can put the Slurpee into your mouth. Weird hahaha

This is the "MaCUPangyarihang Bilog". This is what keeps people from bringing containers that will probably last them a year of Slurpee. As long as your cup or container is hygienic, watertight, fixed in size and able to fit the hole, you're good to use it and fill it up! So make sure your cup fits in there.

This guy was a genius! I would love to walk down the street holding a fishbowl of Slurpee and sipping in it with my straw. How swaggy is that? haha!

I remember there was a point in my life that I swore that any hats would never look good on me. Well, I think it's safe to say that I'm way over that thought but I will never have a way of knowing what other people think.

I realize that as I get older, I tend to invest on items that will speed up my process of dressing up. That means more hats, more basics and more black on black combos. That's not basically a bad thing, it just goes to show that I'm learning what to go to when I'm in a rush!

This past couple of days were very stressful as I went through number of sleepless nights to finish my projects. Not to mention I gained 5 unhealthy pounds.. DAMN!

So here's me treating myself by going for my favorite combo: Camo on camo and finished it off with my training shoes. I could've wore my over used boots but I thought wearing my training shoes will be 10x more comfortable.

There will always be a day when you just don't have enough time to think about what to wear. It's been a very tough and busy week for me and it's still rolling! God I hate midterm week! And as a college student, this is, of course, a part of it. Sometimes it gets pretty tiring to plan ahead about my outfit. Or sometimes you just want to go from point A to point B without showing up with just your pambahay. All these being said, it is very important that you know how to dress down and just go for comfortability.

Invest on a lot of basics, good looking jeans and a comfortable pair of sneakers because I think we can all agree that sneakers are one if not the most comfortable shoes to wear, right? And hey, if you're lazy like me, take your time in getting some hats or anything that will allow you to save time with your hair, too! Trust me, it'll help you in the long run. Haha

If you're that rich, go hire someone to dress you up while you're sleeping.

HIGH RISE sneakers from World Balance -- I just love how a simple pair of sneakers can make me feel light yet makes me feel like a rockstar with its leather finish on the get go! I mean, really! I felt like Pepe Smith walking around Alabang Town Center with these. hahaha! Going for comfort can also be a blog worthy post, you know?

What I love about World Balance is that comfort weighs more than the price you pay for it. It's affordable but it doesn't lack its keen sense of style!

Our country is well known for flirting with storms. You can never be so sure about the weather that's why I make sure I'm ready for anything. I wore a simple shirt last time because it was hot as hell that morning but the weather made sure I learn my lesson at the end of the day by letting it rain hard. I should start bringing extra shirt and underwear next time. lol

Wore this to an event last week and made sure I'm ready for anything. Wore a tank top inside so I don't feel suffocated inside and topped it off with my favorite denim jacket and boots. You can never go wrong with the denim jacket + boots combo!

I got to experience for the second time around the great service Folded & Hung Famous Salon offers that really make you feel like a star!

Their newest branch is now open at the 2nd floor of Glorietta 5. And let me just say that I'm very happy they decided to extend their branches to Makati. Made it more accessible for people from all the way to the south like me.

They aren't called Famous Salon for no reason. They hold a number of famous personalities showcasing their great hairstyles done by the salon, of course! 

I came in like a wrecking fur ball that just got out of bed after months of sleeping. My hair was literally everywhere! I could've gotten a haircut but I would rather have Famous Salon do it. Naks!

After getting my haircut done, I wasn't even planning to get my hair colored but I thought it would be nice to try something different.

If only I was lighter and look like a foreigner, maybe I could pull off a blonde hair. But since that is not the case and it would look absolutely jejemon on me, I went for dark brown. haha

I hate it when plans are cut short because something came up, things take too long to finish or you don't feel well. Unfortunately, all of the above took place for me today. I got the common symptoms for a cold last night when I felt a mild sore throat so I immediately took my medicine. I don't think it worked :(

I felt the blues this morning so It seems appropriate to wear the color everywhere. It's been a while since I posted an outfit that I wore on the same day so I'm feeling productive right now! Worked out early in the morning and it kinda boosted my spirit for a little while before wearing out and feeling terrible again. I think I triggered a fever. Boo
