Yes you should get fat!
People often question if they should try gaining especially if they're new to the community and to me the answer is always a resounding yes! If you at all think you would enjoy being fat or even just enjoy being a bit heavier than you are now I say totally go for it.
I think when people who are currently thin in this community have anxiety about starting to gain there's this subconscious fear that when they start gaining they'll just wake up fat one day and never be able to lose it. The truth is your gain will be slow and as long as you're listening to your body and yourself you will be able to know if you've gained too much.
I guess here's what I'm saying you don't need to gain all the weight you want to gain all at once. If you think you want to gain 50 pounds in total start by gaining 15-20 and see how you feel. If it's too much for you or you just don't like that a very manageable amount of weight to lose. You're currently like 130 and think you want to get massive (like 350-400) but are on the fence start by gaining 50 pounds. It's enough that you'll both look and feel much larger but not enough that losing it would be a major problem if you decide it's too much.
Lastly, never force yourself to do something that feels like too much or that you don't like. We see online all these people that are eating 7000 calories everyday and have gained 50 pounds in 6 months but the truth is most of us are not cut out for that lifestyle (certainly not discouraging you if you feel like you are though!) and you shouldn't feel bad about it. Finally if you decide that gaining really isn't for you no one will give you crap about it if you decide to stop gaining.
