"It's stupid that men are allowed to be shirtless in public while women aren't" yes true✅️ "it's also gross when men do it they should also have to cover up" what. no. no. wrong conclusion❌️
oh yes, every man should be forced to cover up when they just randomly decide to be naked in public places. Men are gross and their bodies need to be covered. At all times. 🤮
Pedophiles should automatically get the death penalty. We should only use it for them.
This shouldn't be controversial.
I absolutely love being a little hateful goblin troll. telling people to fuck off and kill themselves. telling them their stupid low iqs are obnoxious. telling them their abysmal criticisms of media are hilarious. telling them to just stop watching a show is tantamount to telling them to murder their pet. it's actually so much fun to me.
EVERYONE who even made a comment about this situation piling on Chappell needs to upload an apology video ASAP but we all know that won't happen, they'll double down and say she already has a pattern of bad behavior which is why it was all so believable anyway and just keep making up reasons to justify their blatant misogyny.

Birthday Week
My birthday is on Saturday and i'm already feeling emotional. This week is always difficult and this year it is exceptionally so. The bright spot is that I get paid on Friday, so I'll be able to buy some groceries, some food options will help after two weeks of beans. Am I feeling weird because no one is around to celebrate it? That I've met no one who thinks I'm worth keeping in their life? Or is it that I've pushed everyone away? If they were able to be pushed away so easily, did they ever truly care about me? Either way, I'll be alone on my birthday, like I am every weekend. I could try to do something fun, but what's the point? What's even fun to me right now? Binging a new show, while smoking and scrapbooking sounds like all I'm going to be able to really do. Maybe I'll get season 1 of Westworld? It's crazy expensive but maybe that'll be my birthday present to myself? Along with new press on nails.
I'm confused about these warehouse fires. The big one was earlier this week and the guy burned down a toilet paper warehouse. There was another one in an Amazon warehouse. I heard 11 on another TikTok. I know people are saying that maybe these companies will start paying their employees a living wage now.
But why would they right now? They may have insurance to cover the damages and if they don't they have to pay to clean these up + lost inventory so they're losing money. Which these corporations have enough to lose for sure but what about that scenario means they will decide to raise wages? If any they now have solid financial losses recorded so they have every reason to not raise wages. And every reason to raise prices.
Luigi got it right by going straight to the source. He walked right up to the CEO of the insurance company who would deny people life saving treatments and ended his life. Then several insurance companies did in face approve more treatments for a few weeks to a month or so afterwards.
This Paper Mario guy did everything wrong. He set the product on fire. Which no one cares about - like I said either they have insurance to cover their loss or not but no people were in danger (to my knowledge) so the threat of violence is neutralized. If this guy had found the executive responsible for deciding pay ranges, and took that person out, then I'd get his point. But as it stands, dude just got upset and reacted emotionally committing a felony, ruining his life, and not affecting real change for anyone anywhere.

Chappell Roan, who left her talent agency when she found out the Ceo was in the Epstein Files, is getting more hate than people in the actual Epstein files. Pedophiles are currently presidents and starting wars, wife beaters are getting awards and selling out stadiums, but a lesbian who is not the nicest most cheerful person 24/7 is the actual devil and getting banned from performing. I think she should be meaner. Let her be the nastiest bitch in the world. Maybe more women will wake up from the fucking trance this world has put us through and realise being "not nice" is not the biggest crime in the world.
Maintenance Technicians
Why are they all so fucking stupid? Are they not told what the issues are when they are sent to a job? Some of these guys have been here before and act brand new every time. 🙄You can't show up unannounced and expect us to drop everything to help you every single time. You know where the cable rooms are because you were here two months ago to up"grade our building. You know that showing up without telling us means that you have to wait until we can help you. You are a grown fucking man who doesn't seem to know how to do your job. "I'm here about a breaker?" "Yes, it's in 105 and it's the one for the fridge." "Ok, what do I do?" UM, you are the repair tech?!?! The fuck do I know about it??? Go check it the fuck out?
Mental Illness
why can I not have a normal response to anything that happens ever? getting closer and closer to just ending it all because I literally can't work without making mistakes (which makes me feel like killing myself) and I can't afford to live in this world (which also makes me feel like killing myself) so I'm guessing I need to make a plan.

Scarpetta TV show
So they changed A LOT from the books to the show, which I knew was going to happen because it always happens. I understand some of it, like if you have the ability to get Jamie Lee Curtis & Nicole Kidman playing sisters who fight, you want them to fight onscreen as much as possible. It is interesting to watch because they are both such great actors, but these two characters never interacted that much in the books. But it's a change I can understand because it makes for good tv and why wouldn't you use these two amazing actors as much as you possibly could?
However, there really is only so many sibling fight scenes you can have in a season before it's just boring. These are adults with plenty of money, if they argue all the time, why wouldn't one of them move out? I get they are all there for Lucy - but, they don't interact with her enough for this to really make any logical sense.
I loved the flashback stuff but I do tend to love that more than most. I really liked the actor who played younger Scarpetta. I think she absolutely nailed some of Nicole's movements so it made the flashbacks feel more real. They set up a great opportunity to showcase the leap in technology for autopsies but didn't follow through with it.
Having the same murder happen 28 years later, it would have been AMAZING to see them go through a proper autopsy, flashback to the original victims and show us what that autopsy process was like 28 years ago with the tech available at that time and then in current timeline show her doing the same things in the current autopsy to see how much the technology has changed. I'm sure this was floated, maybe even written, probably not filmed. I'm sure the conversation was that audiences don't care about that stuff or it isn't dramatic enough to hold the audience's attention span.
But THIS IS THE HEART OF THE SCARPETTA NOVELS! She is a medical examiner and takes her job very seriously and we barely saw her perform an autopsy. This is where she finds her evidence that she follows that leads her to the truth. This is where they fundamentally misunderstood her character.
She would NEVER use a baseball bat to destroy remains. Full stop. Especially as a means to blow off steam, like some fucked up rage room. NEVER. She would fire anyone who disrespected a life in that way. She knows she is the last person to fight FOR the person on her table, she would never break that pact.
I understand that adapting a book for a tv series requires making some changes, that it's never going to be a page to screen, 1-to-1 adaption. But, you do have to keep the core of the characters you are presenting and the world you are building. It's a constant disappointment to see these adaptations that completely miss the core of what they are adapting.
I think the harm of denying people the right to control their own bodies is so, so much worse than the risk of people regretting the decisions they make. Regretting something you decided to do is a much healthier pain than the pain of regretting that you didn't get to have a choice.
