Little of everything

Watching you walk out of my life does not make me bitter or cynical about love. But rather makes me realize that if I wanted so much to be with the wrong person how beautiful it will be when the right one comes along.

I’m watching you fall in love. With her. Not me, her. I always knew that it wouldn’t be me, but I remember hoping that maybe we could find a way to love each other’s souls, not just our skin. The types of people we are don’t blend well together. I know we aren’t meant for each other, I’ve known that for a long time but I don’t know how much longer I can sit around and watch you love her.
