feeling uber depressed today, but caught my dad serendipitously listening to one of my favorite songs (australia by the shins) so things will have to be OK right?

rewatching TWD after dropping it back when they killed glenn off. and it’s got me frothing at the mouth watching the beginnings of carol & daryl’s partnership take root. i know they never end up being romantic partners which i think is better overall but the total trust and depth to which their relationship grows is a fantastic part of the show. 10/10 no notes and i don’t even know how it ends for them!

real bummed cuz didn’t realize today was summerween and i’m stuck at a toxic weird job with hateful dramatic people, i haven’t gone swimming AT ALL yet, and it doesn’t feel like ~summer~ just perpetual hot miserable hell. i’m having like zero fun and not enjoying my life, just living the days with my mood @ this level —> :/

very pleasantly surprised to find out that i am still capable of being so wound up in a book that i can knock out an average size book in one sitting. it’s 11:30PM and wayyyyyy past my usual bedtime but i can’t get to sleep until i finish this damn thing.
