Where exactly were all the hardcore conservative Harry Potter fans a few years ago? Am I the only one who feels like they just kind of appeared out of nowhere a few months ago, and now they’re all over the internet. Almost as if they don’t actually like Harry Potter on its own merits, but feel compelled to seek it out just so they can spite their ideological enemies. Which is such a weird way to consume pop culture imo.
