"I trust your power. And assume you’ll be fine with me sitting the fight out." James had only just healed from the last fight and had no real desire to get into another one. And this would be a good opportunity to see just what Silas was capable of.

Silas nodded. “Alright,” he said, looking away from the man and around the hall as they walked. It was interesting to see the difference of houses from his time to this time.

"Here, you can stay in this room," James said as he stepped into the largest of the guest rooms. He looked around, then walked over to the tv. "Now, I know you didn't have these." He flipped it on.

[text] I should be home by seven.

[text] perfect. You're going to like what I have planned.

James gave a bashful look from where he sat on the stairs, tugging on his wrist. “I honestly couldn’t give you a better explanation. I was playing with them, I tripped, this happened.” 

Silas stared at him, eyes roaming over his body, before he slowly began to ascend the stairs. “You tripped?” he asked, arching a brow, his smirk in place. “How do you trip on the stairs and handcuff yourself to them?”

James through his hand up. "I don't know. Why not just decide it's a pleasant accident and take advantage?"
