after I did the McGenji pic this suddenly popped up in my head:

Imagine this scene to be in the med wind. McCree is freshly bandaged up n he’s all worn out from the blood loss n shock n he more or less just woke up n then Genji comes in. It’s the first time he’s allowed to see his friend since he lost track of him on the battlefield. n then there he is, McCree, looking like smth chewed him up n spat him back out n his freaking arm is missing but he still SMILES. it’s the saddest smile Genji has seen since the day his brother came at him with a sword n it almost breaks his heart.

but he still laughs half heartedly at McCrees attempt to joke..
