āThe best horse SSO as ever releasedā this is something I say nearly every time with the release of a new breed/horse model. Because to me it is true. The team works on every single breed and horse like it has to be the best they have ever done and they donāt do this since yesterday. The last two-three years, SSO has changed so so much. To the better. There are a lot of (mostly) immature people complaining, that there are too many horses coming out and not enough quests. That there is too much grinding or not enough. The new graphic style was very controverse at the beginning. But this new Jorvik Wild Horse is the absolute reason, why I stick to this game over years and years and why I have spent a small fortune on it. Because this horse model is the everything I have never dreamed SSO would ever do.Ā
I never imagined that SSO would do a horse with this kind of animations and level of detail (have you seen the chipped hooves?!). I remember when the Lusitano came out and the mane moved. That was sooooo huge and nowā¦. the nostrils flare, the ears twitch around, we see eyelashes, the tail barely holds still, the mane falls with every move and the horse LAYS DOWN. SSO has come so so far and this horse right here is the freaking reason I am so excited for what is to come next, because it truly is the best horse SSO has released up to this point. A huge, huge thank you to the team, and congrats to the release of this stunning horse!
Some older Concorde concept art. When I was first requested to draw Concorde in my style, I wasnāt sure if I was meant to draw them as a filly or stallion. So I did both! I love the character and have since drawn both iterations a lot. ā„
I got it running on Chrome and it runs very well so far, it looks a hell of a lot brighter and crisper than I remember but my old laptop was also a potato.
I really hope they can also do the Season Riders games, I really enjoyed having big maps to explore and pretending it was an AU of the SSL timeline.

fiiiiiiinally im sharing the pics of my sso bday cake for the contest!!!!! im so proud of myself for this and it turned out so good in every way ;_; ofc i had to make a south hoof cake. everything (except the sparkler) is edible and handmade!!! the decorations are made from marzipan, chocolate, cream and sprinkles. the inside has a purple gradient in the layers, which contain blueberries, and the middle part is filled with a blueberry cream. the waves around the edges is cream. i dyed everything by hand using the basic red/green/blue/yellow food dyes.
i dont rly need to say this here on ssoblr but obvs i picked SH bc i love it so much. the ingredients choice is bc 1) i love marzipan even tho im sensitive to nuts lol 2) its similar in construction to a swedishĀ āprincess cakeā which is a common cake to buy/bake here! i chose blueberries bc purple, i wanted the inside of the cake purple bc 1) south hoof flowers 2) bday colour pallette 3) pandoria themes.
i also made a tiny Winterborn and gf made a tiny other horse.
it turned out REALLY tasty way beyond what i expected, since i havent baked anything like this before (just some simpler cakes). i can share the recipe if anyones interested!
