why i zine
i make zines because i love small and cheap ways to share art, poetry, ideology, fun things, whatever you want. it's a recent revival of marginalized history -- black history, queer history, lower-class history -- on how we share information and culture with each other. as the world is falling apart and more shitty people are owning forms of social media and connection, i wanna bring back this piece of culture!!!
my primary focuses in my zines are poetry, community, queerness, mental health, and paganism/spirituality. i also like making zines just for fun because it's honestly therapeutic.
