"Just A Little Kiss" - Chapter 2
“Just let me be here with you,” he said, an echo of his request earlier.
She leaned into his palm on instinct, letting the warmth of his skin seep into her bones.
And then, before she could draw another breath, he kissed her.
It was soft at first. Gentle. Questioning. His lips brushed hers, at first tentative, then with calm confidence, savoring each touch of their lips.
Elphaba’s own eyes fluttered closed.
Her hands had found his shirt, fisting in the fabric, pulling him closer. He made a sound—something surprised and pleased—and then his other arm wrapped around her waist, drawing her in until there was no space between them.
The fair was gone. The crowd dispersed. Brahm was nothing but a bad memory, fading with the light.
