OH MAN YOURE RIGHT (me posting this ask way later is in the spirit of the meme) it's almost three whole years of ghost yaoi!!!!!!!! it's hit 1,752 total downloads over that time, which i personally find quite impressive given i started with nonexistent expectations, haha.

When Mimikyu was announced while we were in development, I think we saw it as a kind of gremlin/creature character, lol. Even more feral than Banette. Takes up residence bc the fairy type castle found them a little TOO eerie. Banette would be a little freaked out by this thing always trailing his elbow but it's just bc Mimikyu wanted to sew clothes with him

In the early days I think we doodled one as a humble miner. It was hard to distinguish their hair silhouette from Gengar's though, so we didnt do much with them....

Ghost Castle was a "blorbo first, plot second" type of game, so no one really got cut, no! There are side characters that are mentioned but not shown, and a few of them have designs, but I wouldn't call them cut so much as simply not existing as the focus of the story.

Aegis has been a bachelor for so long he would be genuinely shocked to be pursued lmao. That kind of thing is for the youths????!!!! he'd be so awkward and shy at first. He's rusty......... But once he gets over that part he'd be courteous and sweet. Insists on escorting his partner by the arm. Dropping them off at their home after a date. Cringe ass stuff like dedicating his duels to them. Et cetera. Still gets shy sometimes but blusters his way through being forward.
