Nate Parker

Skylar listened slightly nodding her head, “I’d kill you.. but I’m sure that would cause a riot as well.” She stated, knowing her family would question her, or feel they would and his parents would be out to get her. After her teeth left the girl, her golden hues looked toward Nathan, listening as her eyes were slightly narrow. Her hunger was strong when he put the blood along her lips, hand wrapping onto his wrist, heart pounding in her chest as she licked them clean. “You’ll be powerful one day, just know if you use me.. it won’t end well.”

Nathan stood next to the female and smirked as he felt the females hand on his wrist as she lapped up the blood over his fingers. Nathan laughed at her comment. “I have no intention of using you, so don’t go threatening me because I assure you, I don’t take kindly to it...but watching you do that to someone, I do find that interesting” Nathan nodded. “Anything else you need to do now?” Nathan asked as he placed a hand to her waist watching her. 

“You should look to see if your mom’s doppleganger line has anything in common, like, are their birthdays the same? Or, I don’t know what else you’d be able to tell.” Ivy flipped through pages of records, landing on the 1860 census, when her father was growing up.

Nathan looked up to the female and laughed a little before frowning to himself as if he was thinking about why he hadn’t thought about doing that himself. “I could try that... I can try and do that... I mean I have to find out something that links all the doppelgangers we know about before looking back to find if there are any other’s, because without pictures, we have no idea what other’s in the line look like. “

Raising up a brow, Skylar looked to him, “What does it get you off or something.” He whispered close to his ear, “One more feeding and maybe you can watch me get wet afterwards.” She mused before strutting off toward another human, smelling their blood as it made her hungry all over again. “Also.. take some action if you want to be a vampire and just end your life.” She suggested, fangs singing into the girls neck, the thick blood dropping onto her clothes and even down her throat.

Nathan followed the female and listened to her before smirking again. He stood close to the female and tilted his head to the side before nodding. “I know...but apparently that would cause arguments and I’m sure my brother would end up killing me again.” He pointed out. “Plus I would be a heretic...so you know you are probably more dangerous to me when I touch you compared with right now...” Nathan pointed out before slipping a hand over the females blood and pressing it the the tribrids lips.

Ivy shrugged, “I don’t know, maybe the next generation of dopplegangers hasn’t been born yet because the Tom and Elena generation would still be alive by regular human standards.” Ivy smiled, “Well, fortunately you have easy access to the archives and all of the town’s records.”

Nathan zoned out as he reached the archives and started flipping through them before looking up and acting as if he had been listening. “Yeah..Yeah..” He admitted with a nod before returning to flip through the pages of the archives. Finally found the record of Amara, he started tracing the family for a moment.

The moment her fangs pieced the strangers skin, she felt herself completely lose control, the hunger for blood over powering as she just about drained their whole body before she did let them go and compel them away. When the Parker son said it was hot, her brows knit together looking toward him, hearing what he had to say next. “What can’t do it yourself yet?” She raised up a brow walking toward him, finger tracing along his neck. “I have just about all the strength one could have with my kind.” She stated licking her lips from the blood. “What I really want is to get washed up or more blood.

Nathan stood listening to the female and smirked and his bit on his lower lip with the the Mikaelson’s finger tracing over his neck. He didn’t flinch and turned his head to look to the girl as she stood next to him. “I suggest the blood, as I would quite happily watch that...but I wouldn’t be opposed to watching you get all wet either..” He raised an eye brow. “I want to set the record straight, I want to be able to do it myself, but apparently, my dad and mom don’t want me to be more...dangerous yet..” 

Ivy thought for a moment, “Maybe it just hasn’t been a long enough period of time for the next dopplegangers to have been born. And if they have been, they might still be kids, and I mean, they could be anywhere, how would we even know?”

Nathan listened to the female and laughed a little. “Yeah but then I’m sure those pesky siren’s would lure any doppelgangers here...just to toy with everyone..” Nathan pointed out. “How about we just see what we can find on them... and then I’m sure I could get my mom to gimme some inside information she has..” Nathan chuckled. 

At first Skylar was just going to leave but the hunger in her wasn’t patient enough. Her fangs dug into the human, drinking their blood before compelling them to leave, her face and clothes full of blood as she looked over towards the Parker boy, “There’s your look of darkness.” She stated as her gold hues glowed toward him for a few moments.

Nathan watched the female feeding and laughed a little before moving forward and smirking at her as he heard the girl’s words. “That was hot...” Nathan admitted as his hues locked with the females. “I’m sure You have the strength to do that again huh? I’m sure I could watch it again..” Nathan admitted in a whisper as he passed the raven haired female. 

“I’m fine.” Skylar retorted, always hating when people saw her darker side, even though she herself was even scared about how dark, angry or whatever wanted to come out.

Nathan looked to her and nodded his head almost sarcastically. “Oh yeah, you are really fine... good thing for you is I rather like the darker side to people, so you don’t have to be find all the time..” Nathan pointed out leaning against the wall. “Please, by all means you can finish doing whatever you were doing.” 

“So, I guess the question is… did something in the cycle get thrown off when your mom met my dad? And did it get further thrown off by the number of dopplegangers here? In Mystic Falls? How many more were there? If it’s been 2000 years there should have been more. How can we find out who they were? Can we? Does it matter?” Ivy realized how much she’d been talking. “Sorry, I just get a little carried away sometimes.”

Nathan turned to look at the female and as she mumbled on about the doppelgangers. His face showed his feelings, as he looked rather uninterested. “Yeah... well I would rather look more about why they seemed to have died out with Elena and that Avery guy!” Nathan admitted. 

“It’s hardly a threat if it’s theoretical, and besides, why wouldn’t I want to know more about it?” She thought for a moment, “Just the basics really, that Silas and Amara were the original dopplegangers, and when they became immortal, the dopplegangers were created to die in their place. I sort of know what they are, but I don’t know how any of it actually came to be. What about you?”

Nathan listened to the female and laughed a little at her. “Well I know that the dopplegangers were a counterbalance to the immortality elixir made by Qetsisah. And it seemed that they were born to miss each other as a way of punishment of Silas and Amara or something, so their lines never crossed... but when my mom because a vampire... she met Stefan and it went from there or something... it’s like confusing with how they work and meet in different doppleganger stages...” He assured the female. 

Ivy felt her muscles tense slightly at the feeling of Nathan’s arm on her shoulders. She laughed softly, “What do you mean? My dad is a doppleganger too, why wouldn’t I be interested in it?”

Nathan listened to the male and laughed a little. “Well I thought you were goody two shoes and wouldn’t want to dabble in things that can be dangerous..” He admitted with another laugh. He looked to the Salvatore. “So what do you know about dopplegangers so far?” 

Ivy couldn’t hide her surprised smile when he said she was the interesting thing. She wasn’t used to him being so nice to her, at least not without it being buried under several layers of sarcasm. “That does sound really interesting actually, and besides, I have a vested interest in doppleganger history myself.”

Nathan listened to the female and his interest peaked as she mentioned her fascination with doppleganger history. He pouted his lips for a moment before answering. “Really... well now you have certainly grabbed my attention care to elaborate?” He asked placing an arm around her shoulders leading her away from the desk awaiting her answer. 

“Yes, I do know your mother. She and I actually get along great.” 

“Oh? Maybe my dear ol’ mom has mellow in recent years?” Nathan stated rather rhetorically.
