silas couldnât help but let out a slight laugh, shaking his head as a smile crossed over his face, âi wish i could, but i made a promise to be good and i like to keep my promises,â everytime he thought of giving an overconfident master attitude samaelâs words echoed in his head and he remembered what happened last time he got caught being bad. he tilted his head a bit at the mention of being claimed, âyou are? you must be lucky. i hate those damn cells with a passion,â he felt more comfortable knowing the other was a fellow slave so he didnât have to watch himself as much as he does around the masters and mistresses. âi would give anything to feel free again, ya know?â
Ramiel grinned a bit, not all that surprised by the others response. âSuch a school boy. I can respect that though. A man with honor.â He nodded a bit, approvingly. He too was the kind to keep his promises, however he had gotten much more careful about making them while a slave to the city. Now that he was no longer branded and belonging to just one person, who just happened to be the girl he loved, he was probably a bit less skeptical about it. Silas seemed interested in the concept of being claimed. Which was probably a good thing, considering that Ramiel couldnât imagine such a guy would remain unclaimed for too long. âYeah. After a lot of time alone in there, I got lucky. Found a woman that wanted more than my pretty behind. Most of us does. Trust me the longer youâre in there, the bigger that hate will become. Then again, you donât strike me as someone who will spend too much time locked in. Iâm sure thereâs already someone whoâs got their eye on you?â he was half asking, half assuming. âIâm not sure freedom is in the cards for any of us. But I do get where you are coming from.âÂ
