The song is from the amazing AJR

a dream sequence/hallucination where steven sees his childhood self hurting and feels the need to help and comfort. as soon as he touches “little steven” the mirage morphs into his mirror image. it’s all very metaphorical.

i can’t not make every panel and face over-dramatic when i make a comic. i hope you all like it.

(In case it isn’t obvious, this exists because it makes me laugh and not because it’s cannon or anything like that.)
